Aloft Hotels is a stylish boutique and high-tech hotel brand of Marriott International. Aloft stands for the urban, modern design and a hip social experience at an affordable rate. It is a brand that celebrates the individual and gives the guests freedom to control and customize their travel to their personal preferences. Aloft’s public places are recognizable by its multifunctional possibilities and design.

With this energetic and modern concept, the brand caters to the next generation of travellers. Aloft Hotels are opening up all over the world. Founded in 2008, Aloft currently operates 137 hotels with 23,219 rooms worldwide and has 137 hotels in the pipeline, adding a total of 21,604 rooms (as of Q3 2017). The brand is not yet present in the Netherlands.

THE LESSEE

The Odyssey Hotel Group (“OHG”) is a hotel management company active in Europe. Its close ties to Marriott and IHG enables a strong growth program. The Stuttgart Marriott Hotel Sindelfingen, Glow Hotel Eindhoven, Hotel Nassau Breda an Autograph Collection Hotel and the AC Hotel are among the hotels that are currently in operation. The pipeline of new hotels is well filled up as 18 new hotels are currently under development, including the Aloft Utrecht.
